So this is what I’ve been up to for the last couple of weeks. It all had to get done to have a proper setup for building New Old Bike, which has been waiting for a few months.

A frame for a bench with diagonal bracing. A trolley is standing inside it.
Never mind the trolley. I’ve just parked it there bc I’m finished for the day.
1 thick piece of wood is sat on the frame with a vice resting on it; another one is getting sized up to fit under it as an extra leg/support

Drawer rails have been hung on a framework inside the bench frame
Belatedly decides to do some drawers.

Old chipboard worktop on trestles that used to pass for a bench is being swed into pieces
Cleared all the stuff off the old bench & cutting it up …
